Pícaro del Águila
Tax included.
Although Pícaro Tinto is Dominio del Águila's 'young' wine, it is much more serious than its jovial name suggests. It comes from old vineyards planted in clay and calcareous soils with northern exposure, overlooking the Gromejon Valley. Here, the old vines are interspersed with native varieties, which means that the Tinto Fino or Tempranillo is complemented by small additions of Blanca del Pais, Garnacha, Bobal, Tempranillo Gris and others. As with all Dominio del Águila vineyards, they are meticulously cultivated using organic methods with some biodynamic preparations.
